Sint Maarten tip that I can’t believe isn’t in this thread yet. The French side of the island has a weekly market in Marigot where you can buy fresh produce, fish, and local goods for a fraction of what the supermarket charges. It is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I do a big Marigot run on Saturday morning every other week and my grocery bill dropped by about 40 percent compared to when I was shopping exclusively at the Dutch side grocery stores. Takes some getting used to but it becomes a nice ritual too, good for mental health to do something normal and local.
Question about internet and study from home setup. I am planning to bring a desktop monitor, a second display for studying, and all my tech. Is bandwidth in Grenada actually sufficient for Zoom calls, streaming Lecturio or Boards and Beyond, and generally working online? I have heard mixed things.
